Dark Pool. High Potentials is a duet on the theme of play, imagined worlds and their application and use in today’s society. The body, in its materiality as well as in its self-conception, is questioned and challenged in relation to lines and flow, rules and boundaries, inclusion and exclusion, as well as strategies of self-optimisation.
Starting from a hexagonal stage area that can be viewed by the audience from three sides, the dance piece dissolves into a walk-in installation.
The stage design, an initially flat grid on the floor consisting of white elastic strings, opens up into the space and at the end is woven into the entire stage and spectator area.
