This Contemporary Dance Workshop explored movement, presence, and dance performance in non-theatrical environments. Linked to research for a new immersive production, we examined how digital disembodiment reshapes or sense of physical presence and interaction.

Participants experimented with contemporary dance practices outside traditional stage settings, engaging with urban spaces, architecture, and everyday surroundings as active elements of performance. By appreaching the skin as a threshold between inner and outer landscapes, we explored the body’s sensory intelligence and choreographic strategies, individually and collectively. The workshop concluded with a short site-specific public performance.
